While Geiger's contributions were of great significance. Aubert's, Eckhoffs and Goldschmidt's efforts were no less remarkable. In these latter sociologists' works, theoretical investigations and empirical research intertwine. Ross's authoritative legal philosophy rose up against the flourishing of the legal-sociological studies.
