  • Descrição: Objective To understand the current awareness of hemodialysis access-related knowledge in maintenance hemodialysis patients, summarize the existing problems and health needs, and provide opinions and suggestions for the development of health education plan. Methods The phenomenological research method of qualitative research was used to interview 15 maintenance hemodialysis patients, and the data were analyzed to refine the theme. Results After in-depth analysis, four themes were obtained: Insufficient knowledge of hemodialysis access; One-sided understanding of hemodialysis access protection; Dialysis patients have many doubts about diet knowledge, blood pressure control and thrombosis; Various sources of health education information. Conclusion Maintenance hemodialysis patients have a poor knowledge of hemodialysis access, and their awareness of protecting access is not strong. Medical staff should optimize the form of health education to meet the health needs of patients and improve the attention of patien
