Descrição: Crystal clear: Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) is a promising light‐absorbing material for solar cells. A facile noninjection route to preparing monodisperse nanocrystalline CZTS that exhibits a wurtzite‐derived crystal structure is reported (see figure), and insights into the mechanism of its formation are given. In addition, a simple approach to phase‐selective synthesis of CZTS by varying the organic surfactants used in the synthesis is demonstrated.
