Descrição: Three new species of Oxyethira are described and ilustrated: Oxyethira longisterna sp. nov., Oxyethira gyrosterna sp. nov., and Oxyethira acuminata sp. nov. New country records of Oxyethira macrosterna Flint 1974 and Oxyethira bicornuta Kelley 1983 are also provided.
