  • Descrição: Small-scale adhesive-bonded HE joints were designed, using roughly 4% of the HE mass required by fixtures described in the ASTM D905 standard. Custom 3D-printed bonding fixtures were designed, fabricated, and used to generate reproducible joints with programmable bondline thickness. A custom 3D-printed block shear testing fixture was designed, fabricated, and employed to measure the shear strength of test joints.
