Descrição: Ten concrete filled steel tube composite columns are tested under axial loads using 15 MN pressure testing machine. The mechanical property of composite columns under axial load, the influential factors such as steel tube ratio, reinforcing steel bars ratio and the shape of section of column are studied. The results show that the outer reinforced concrete can work together with inner concrete filled steel tube, and all influential factors have noticeable effect on the performance of the composite columns.
