Descrição: This report deals with the unique discoveries from Tell Abu al-Kharaz which date to the Early Iron Age, viz. around 1100 BCE. A large, well-preserved, compound with hundreds of complete finds has been exposed by the Swedish Jordan Expedition in 2010 and 2011. The compound had once two storeys. Connections with the Eastern Mediterranean, Phoenicia and Egypt could be verified. There are indications of remains of the "Sea Peoples"
