The purpose of this study was to determine the organizational structures and resource allocations superintendents in rural Missouri school districts employ to promote college and career readiness. The study sought to identify organizational structures and resource allocations being employed by superintendents in rural Missouri school districts and gather qualitative feedback on the processes involved in developing and maintaining the structures and strategies. In addition, the study intended to gather and analyze qualitative information related to implementation procedures, systems of measurement, and processes for evaluation and revision of the organizational structures and resource allocations.
