Descrição: Flow injection determination of sodium sulfide and hydrogen sulfide in solution through the methylene blue spectrophotometric procedure is described. The carrier streams are N,N-dimethylaniline sulfate (5.4 mM, HCl solution) and iron(m) ammonium sulfate (14.2 mM, HCl solution) and are merged before injection of sulfide (in 0.01 M NaOH). The sampling rate is 210 per hour. The effect of reagent concentrations and interferents on the determination has been investigated.
