  • Descrição: In this project dynamic modeling and control algorithm design for three effect falling film evaporator is studied. Dynamic modeling of this process is simulated base on total mass balance, component mass balance and energy balance. For modeling of three effect falling film evaporator, the operation condition of Isfahan milk powder unit is consumed. Then design of some control algorithms for evaporation process by using computer simulation is investigated. For selection of tight control algorithm, performance of third effect concentration and pressure control loops by using integral square error method is investigated. For concentration and pressure control loops proportional-integral controller is used and proportional controller for level control in three effects is used. For tuning of controller parameters several methods (depended on process model or experimental process input-output variables) is studied and for tuning of controller parameters the minimization of objective function method is used. In the end of this project, by comparing different control algorithms, it is resulted that second algorithm (third effect concentration is controlled by liquid product flow rate) is desirable
