Descrição: The improved tape perforator PL-150 can punch tapes made of plastics, paper, terylene and other materials. The perforator provides the accuracy of a step within the limits of plus or minus 50 mmu, which corresponds to the international standard. Maximum punching speed is 150 lines per second (it can be decreased, depending upon the frequency of transmitting code). The code signals are received by the perforator in the form of current pulses having an amplitude of 30 to 70 mA and duration of 3.5 to 5 mS. During operation the perforator transmits the following synchronizing signals to the external circuits: readiness, tape loading, code reception, start of cycle. The signals are represented in the form of negative rectangular current pulses having duration of 0.4 to 0.45 mS and an amplitude of 120 to 160 mA. The perforator operates on a 220-volt, 50-cycle A.
