Descrição: The monotypic genus Satrapister Bickhardt, 1912 is redescribed and figured. Its tentative position in the recently performed phylogeny of the subfamily, inferred from a new analysis based on the available morphological characters is discussed. Lectotype of Satrapister nitens Bickhardt, 1912 is designated.
