  • Descrição: Coast area is the boundary between land and sea, which is important for disaster prevention and underground utilization etc... But, it is difficult to carry out survey in the area, because the area is a water area which is too shallow to approach by ship. The three-dimensional structure modeling based on existence of geological stratigraphy unit, which based on existence probability, was developed to integrate existing data, for example geophysical survey data, in land and sea area. The method is applied to clarify stratigraphy unit distribution in and around Tokyo bay area. As a result, distributions of Shimousa formation, central part of Kazusa formation, lower part of Kazusa formation, Miura formation, and basement can be estimated from surface to depth. And displacement of basement at elevation of -2,000 m appeared from 100 m to 200 m in the northern part of this area. This displacement corresponds with drilling data in the area. CO2 storage potential can be estimated using this model. In case of this area, the estimation value is 4.47 billions.
