Descrição: The possibility of processing and complex use of the domestic low-grade high-silicon aluminum-containing ores is considered. A new method for the separation of aluminum and iron by an electrochemical method in an acidic solution is proposed. The anodic and cathodic processes are considered and their characteristic features are revealed. Cascade and closed systems are proposed for the electrochemical refining of an alumochloride solution from iron impurities.
