  • Descrição: The effects of low-temperature rolling as a component of thermomechanical treatment of steel have been studied. The two variants of the process "rolling-annealing" were used. The tests were carried out on the following steel grades: 40 Cr, 40 CrNi, and 30 CrMnSi. It was found that this process provides the best structure and plasticity of steel in the case of rolling at temperatures between 1000-650 deg C (variant no. 2). At 650 deg , the steels were placed in the annealing furnace for 2 h and then air cooled. The obtained pearlite was completely granular. Moreover, after hardening and tempering, the ductility and plasticity of the steels were significantly higher.
